Danceafreaka African Dance Workout DVD
Mood:  bright

The new Danceafreaka DVD allows you to experience African dance fitness in your own home.
Respected choreographer Kofi Dennis Adorsoo takes you through the specially created “Kloga” routine backed by energetic, live drumming. The African fitness dance routine is easy to follow and is suitable for all levels of fitness.

You can buy the Danceafreaka DVD at www.danceafreaka.com.

The DVD follows 4 simple sections. The workout begins with the “Warm up”, it then takes you step-by-step through the “Kloga” routine designed to work your muscles and endurance.  Next comes the “Dance performance” at a high pace to push your fitness levels and then the finally the “Cool down”.

Workout  your way

Completing all 4 sections of the DVD takes an hour, but you don’t have to do it all at once. You can use Danceafreaka in a number of ways.

  • Work through the “Warm up” and “Cool down” for a combination of stretching exercises. This quick work out takes about 20 minutes
  • Alternatively, complete the “Warm up”, go through the step-by-step instructions of “Kloga” and “Cool down” to workout your whole body
  • Once you’ve mastered the main routine or are pressed for time, complete the “Warm up”, “Dance Performance” and “Cool down” sections in order to get a brisk 30 minute workout
Whichever way you use the Danceafreaka DVD, please ensure that you always perform exercises that warm up your muscles before you exercise and cool down your muscles afterwards.

Danceafreaka - What is Danceafreaka?
Mood:  bright

Danceafreaka® is a new and fun workout that uses traditional African dance techniques to improve: body tone, flexibility, fitness, weight loss and cardio vascular health.

Uniquely it incorporates aspects of dances from different parts of the African continent emphasising their aerobic and muscle strengthening qualities. Every class is taught to beats from across Africa either live on the drum or pre recorded.

The exercises are easy to follow and lots of fun. It is ideal for anyone interested in African culture, getting fit, or anyone who wants to try something new.

The choreography of this fun dance workout has received exceptional praise, as it has been carefully designed to improve fitness levels, increase flexibility and weight loss. African dance is renowned for working the lower body especially the Quads and Glutes.

There are two ways to experience Danceafreaka, either by attending a class (currently only available in the London area), or purchasing the Danceafreaka DVD at www.danceafreaka.com.
